HATS
Film

Dir. Sadé Clacken Joseph
2017

As a boy’s reality in South Central and his dreams at Pacific Valley High collide, he must choose which hat he will wear in order to survive.

Kito Lewis is an imaginative 16-year-old black kid living in 1990s gang infested South Central, Los Angeles. Kito, a pitcher, aspires to be a professional baseball player one day. He transfers to a predominately white high school in The Valley, in order to have a real shot at getting scouted.
